Who we are
Based in Saint Petersburg, Florida, Mahesh Mistry is a licensed architect providing residential and commercial architectural services with a focus on clarity, constructability, and long-term value.
Mahesh approaches architecture as both a design discipline and a practical service. Projects are developed with close attention to zoning, building codes, construction methods, and cost—so that design decisions support efficient approvals, accurate pricing, and smooth execution in the field.
Raised around construction and real estate, Mahesh developed an early understanding of how buildings are actually put together and financed. This background continues to inform a pragmatic design process that bridges the gap between owners, contractors, and consultants.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Mathematics from Northeastern University and a Master of Architecture from The City College of New York. His professional experience includes work at Plainspace, DPC in New York City, a boutique firm specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects, as well as advanced training in detailing and construction methods suited to Florida’s hurricane-prone climate under Saint Petersburg–based architect Peter Goldhammer.
Today, Mahesh’s work is guided by a simple principle: architecture should reduce risk, add measurable value, and result in buildings that perform well over time.
Outside of practice, Mahesh enjoys woodworking, soccer, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
